Dreams for Sale! By David Stern There are people who sell you actual products or services, and there are people who sell you dreams. Have you ever tried the lottery? Have you ever played with a slot machine in a casino? What attracted you to do it? Let me guess: It was the thought you could win a fortune in a second. When you come to think about it, what is the chance to win in these kinds of gambling games? The chance is very low. Eventually, what did you spend your money on? Exactly - A dream. The same is true in other things people offer you, like joining a marketing network. Notice that they offer you a job, but they never ask for any professional requirements, but the initial payment. They promise you financial success, while only few people who join these networks actually make a profit. In times like today of financial crisis, it is very easy to fool naive people and make them invest a lot of money in dreams that never come true. So, what would the conclusion of this Intel be? Be aware of what people are selling you. Be aware of what you are spending your money on. Be aware of whom you are doing business with. Open your eyes.
