Gadgets? By David Stern I admit: I'm not a big fan of gadgets. I am not technophobian, but there are many things in the market I just feel I do not need. I own a mobile phone, but I use it only for phone calls. Television? I don't even have a set at home, because it does not interest me. Internet? I have access to it from home and from work, and that is enough. I want to get disconnected elsewhere. GPS? Many people ask me why do not I bye a GPS device, as I own a car and I like to know where I am driving to. In fact, I prefer to use a regular map, paper and ink. Why? Because I want to see the whole picture. I do not want to be told the way and to follow it like a monkey. I want to see the whole road or street plan and figure out the way myself. One gadget I do have is a digital camera. It is half proffessional, and I have it because photographing is my hobby (besides creating music). It is fun taking pictures with it and using its various features. I would not have bought a full automated camera, because I like to think before I shoot the picture, and set the parameters myself.
