My trip to the United States By David Stern The longest trip I ever had was to the United States of America, including a little bit of Canada (I live in Israel). The trip lasted a little more than 3 months on summer 2001. I landed in Chicago on July 2nd and traveled counter clockwise through the northern states, the west coast from the Canadian border to Los Angeles, the canyons area, the southern states from Texas to Florida, and the east coast from Florida up to Maine. I left America from New York on October 8th, 2001. I have a diary of the trip I wrote in Hebrew. It is longer than an Intel can contain. When I'll translate it to English, I sure will mention it here. One of the events worth mentioning is the September 11th events. At the moment I was eating Breakfast in a motel in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on my way to New Orleans.
