Promoting With Video

Webmasters are always trying to find original ways to promote their websites. We all know that it is important that our website will show up in the first page in search engine search results. We all know that it is important to have many links that lead to our website from other websites, especially major websites. We all know that it is important to communicate with other webmasters and bloggers that share with us similar interests. It is worth creating a promotional video, and spread it out on the web. People like to watch videos. A video can combine in it pictures (stills & motion), graphics, text, music, speech and much more. You know how popular Youtube is. Why not have presence in it? Several uses for videos could be: Music – Many people that search for music on the web, search for music videos. They can be much more concentrated in a video than in an audio file, once they have something to watch while listening. Photography – Setting a group of photos in a video file can be a good way to present them. The viewer doesn’t need to actively browse between the pictures. They just flow in front of him, and in the background you can also add sound and music. Presentations & lectures – Video is excellent fore these purposes. It is mainly because you can combine different kinds of media, as I mentioned above. People find creating presentations in video format a lot more productive than in Power Point. Also, the viewer can pause and replay the video as much as he wants, by that understanding the content in his own pace. Video files can be published in several websites, such as Youtube, Metacafe, Esnips and Facebook. You can also embed the video in one of your website pages. It’s a simple task – just some html and that’s all. It will bring your website to life. |
