The History of my Website
I am connected to the internet since the mid-nineties, and verry quickly I was "captured in the net". I felt that the internet was invented exactly for me (and for people like me) - as a way to find information and people, to express myself, and to find my niche in the world. Soon enough I was interested in creating a website of my own. As a music composer, the easiest way to promote my music is through the internet - especialy considering the fact that the radio, with all the stations there are, plays a very small fraction of music ever composed. My personal website, wich I usualy call "The Official Website" was on-air on December 1999. It was written then in basic HTML. The website evolved through the years, and got more and more content in it. Today, my website includes music in mp3 format, photographs I took in my trips around the world and even two videos, combining my music and my photography. On November 2004 I have purchased my first domain name for The Official Website, and since then, it can be found at http://www.davidstern.co.il On 2006 I have studied Dot Net programming, and since the beggining of 2007, my website is written in asp.net, enabling me to create dynamic pages and the visitors to leave comments. In addition, I have a blog at http://www.faceglobal.com , in it I tell about myself and my music. |
