Will Benjamin Netanyahu's administration be more right winged than Olmert's? By David Stern Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli former prime minister from the late 90's, is going to be the next Israeli prime minister. It is believed that Netanyahu is going to establish his new government with the right wing parties in the Knesset - the Israeli parliament. If this is the government that will be established in Israel, will it really be more right winged than the last government, lead by Ehud Olmert? In Olmert's administration, there was no negotiation between Israel and it's enemies, the terror organisations like Hamas and Hizballah. Instead, there were two wars. Benjamin Netanyahu is known for his right wing opinions introduced in the media, but in practice - he usually is willing to compromise, in a way he may look more left wing than his left wing colleagues in the Israeli politics. Establishing a government with the right wing parties is not Netanyahu's highest priority. First, he tried to establish his government with the moderate parties of the Knesset, Kadima and the Labor party. Nobody needs to be afraid of Netanyahu's upcoming administration. Nobody needs to be afraid of Israel at all.
